जब से अनुपमा चोपड़ा की फिल्म कंपेनियन ने अब तक की टॉप 10 भारतीय फिल्मों का जश्न मनाते हुए अपनी पहली ‘बेस्ट इंडियन फिल्म्स फॉरएवर’ (BIFF) लिस्ट की घोषणा की है, फैंस इसके बारे में और अधिक जानने के लिए उत्साहित हैं। 15 अगस्त 2023 को Filmcompanion.in पर लॉन्च होने वाली, BIFF लिस्ट को विभिन्न भारतीय फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के निर्देशकों, अभिनेताओं, तकनीशियनों और क्रिटिक्स से प्राप्त प्रस्तुतियों के आधार पर संकलित किया गया है। यह भारत और भारतीय संस्कृति के सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय पहलुओं में से एक का उत्सव है।
फिल्म कंपेनियन की पहली ‘बेस्ट इंडियन फिल्म्स फॉरएवर’ (BIFF) लिस्ट बनाने के लिए 150 से अधिक सिनेप्रेमी एक साथ आए। प्रत्येक ने अब तक की पांच सर्वश्रेष्ठ भारतीय फिल्मों में से अपनी पसंद भेजी। मीरा नायर, करण जौहर, सिद्धार्थ रॉय कपूर, जोया अख्तर, एनटीआर जूनियर, ऋतिक रोशन, राजकुमार हिरानी, अनिल कपूर, इम्तियाज अली, राम माधवानी, पैन नलिन, प्रोसेनजीत चटर्जी, जान्हवी कपूर, सारा अली खान और भूमि पेडनेकर जैसे उद्योग के दिग्गज ये कुछ ऐसे नाम हैं जिन्होंने BIFF लिस्ट बनाने में मदद की। इसके अलावा योगदानकर्ताओं में देश के कुछ प्रमुख फिल्म क्रिटिक्स भी शामिल हैं। एक बार जब सभी प्रस्तुतियाँ आ गईं, तो फिल्म कंपेनियन ने प्रत्येक टॉपक को प्राप्त वोटों की गणना की और वहां से, टॉप 10 की लिस्ट एक साथ आ गई।
