किसी भी कलाकार के लिए 50 फिल्में और 50 किरदार का सफर बेहद उपलब्धि भरा होता है। यह उपलब्धि अब भोजपुरी सिनेमा के यूनिक स्‍टार यश कुमार के नाम है। यश कुमार ने साल 2013 में अपने सुनहरे पर्दे की सफर की शुरूआत की थी। तब से अब तक वे 50 फिल्‍मों में काम कर चुके हैं और इसके जरिये उन्‍होंने भोजपुरी भाषी दर्शकों के बीच एक सफल अभिनेता और कलाकार की पहचान बना चुके हैं। यही वजह है कि आज वे किसी पहचान के मोहताज नहीं हैं। उनके नाम से भी भोजपुरी बॉक्‍स ऑफिस पर फिल्‍में चलती हैं।

यश कुमार ने दिलदार सांवरिया, राजाजी आई लव यू, दरिया दिल, दिल लागल दुपट्टा वाली से, बलम रसिया, सपेरा, हीरो गमछावाला जैसी सुपर हिट फिल्‍मों से अपने फिल्‍मी करियर की शुरूआत की थी। इन फिल्‍मों में दर्शकों ने उनकी अदाकारी को खूब पसंद किया और उनकी फिल्‍मों के लिए वे बेसब्री से इंतजार रहने लगा। यश कुमार के इन सब फिल्मों की खास बात ये रही कि उनकी फिल्‍मों को सभी वर्ग के दर्शकों ने पसंद किया। यश की फिल्‍में हमेशा कथा प्रधान रही। फिर क्‍या था उनपर यूनिक स्‍टार का तमगा भी लग गया।

यश कुमार ने आज भले अपनी 50 फिल्‍मों का सफर पूरा कर लिया, लेकिन अभिनय की भूख उनमें अभी भी खूब दिखती है। यह वजह है कि वे आज भी लगातार काम कर रहे हैं और भोजपुरी में एक से बढ़कर एक क्‍लास फिल्मों का निर्माण कर रहे हैं। इनमें कुछ फिल्‍में ऐसी हैं, जिसका पोस्‍टर रिलीज होना बांकी है, जो जल्‍द ही सिनेमाघरों रिलीज भी होगी। वहीं, यश ने अपनी इस विशेष उपलब्धि के लिए भोजपुरी दर्शकों और अपने शुभ चिंतकों का आभार व्‍यक्‍त किया है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि बस दिल से यही कहूंगा कि ऐसे ही अपना प्यार और आशीर्वाद अपने यश कुमार के साथ बनाये रखियेगा।
