पटना। राज्य सरकार द्वारा विभिन्न विभागों से मंत्रियों की अदला बदली के बाद आज मंत्री प्रमोद कुमार ने कला, संस्कृति एवं युवा विभाग, बिहार का पदभार पुराना सचिवालय स्थित विभाग के कक्ष में संभाला। इस दौरान कला, संस्कृति एवं युवा विभाग के तमाम अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। पदभार संभालने के बाद नवनियुक्त मंत्री प्रमोद कुमार ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए राज्य में क्रिकेट और भोजपुरी सिनेमा के विकास को प्राथमिकता बताई।
मंत्री ने कहा कि भारत एक सांस्कृतिक राष्ट्र है और उस सांस्कृतिक राष्ट्र की राजधानी बिहार है। मैं सौभाग्यशाली हूं कि मुझे माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री नीतीश कुमार जी और उपमुख्यमंत्री श्री सुशील कुमार मोदी जी ने इस विभाग का प्रभार सौंपा है। इसके लिए मैं उनका आभार प्रकट करता हूँ। आज देश के संस्कृतिक और राष्ट्रवाद की चर्चा दुनियाभर में हो रही है। जिसका विजय पताका प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दुनिया भर में लहराया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज मैं उसी सांस्कृतिक राज्य के मंत्री का पदभार लेकर गौरवान्वित हूँ। आज मैंने पदभार लिया है और आगे विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा कर मैं विभाग के कार्यों को और आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध रहूंगा। विकास भवन स्थित कार्यालय कक्ष में कला संस्कृति एवं युवा विभाग के मंत्री प्रमोद कुमार द्वारा पदभार ग्रहण किया गया।इसके पूर्व कार्यालय पहुंचने पर विभाग के प्रधान सचिव रवि परमार,अपर सचिव दीपक आनंद और उपसचिव तारानंद वियोगी द्वारा बुके से स्वागत किया गया।
इस अवसर पर मंत्री ने कहा कि वे माननीय मुख्यमंत्री और माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के सबका साथ,सबका विकास को सार्थक करेंगे।अधिकारियों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने युवाओं में राष्ट्र प्रेम के प्रति जागृति के लिए जिले और प्रखंड स्तर पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने के निदेश दिए। इस अवसर पर बिहार कला संघ की ओर से मनोज बच्चन,वीरेन्द्र सिंह, सत्येंद्र संगीत और क्राफ्टवाला की ओर से राकेश मिश्र ने भी स्वागत किया साथ ही बिहार संगीत नाटक अकादमी के सचिव विनोद अनुपम,सहायक सचिव विभा सिन्हा सहित कई गणमान्य लोग भी उपस्थित थे।
