Patna, Dr. Namrata Anand, a social worker-teacher and the founder of the Didiji Foundation, was honored with the Chitragupta Samman for her remarkable contribution to the field of education.

Under the aegis of Chitragupta Social Sansthan, a seminar, honor ceremony, and cultural evening were organized at Giriraj Utsav Palace. Dr. Namrata Anand was felicitated by former Union Minister and Patna Sahib MP Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, MLA Nand Kishore Yadav, poet Satyanarayana, author of Bihar State Song, Padmashree Dr. Gopal Prasad Sinha and outgoing Mayor Sita Sahu by giving memento, angavastra, and saplings. . Dr. Namrata Anand expressed happiness over the award of Chitragupta Samman 2022 and expressed her gratitude to Kamal Nayan Srivastava, General Secretary of Chitragupta Social Sansthan. He said, I am a teacher and it is a matter of pride for me to get the Chitragupta honor on the occasion of worshiping Lord Chitragupta, the deity of the pen.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Namrata Anand has been honored by the Central Selection Committee with the National Youth Award in the year 2004 for outstanding work done in National Development and Social Service. In the year 2019, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar honored him among the best 20 teachers of Bihar.

In the year 2021, Dr: Namrata Anand established Sanskarshala in Fuljhari Garden, Kurthaul. Through Sanskarshala, children of poor and slum areas are given free education, music, sewing-weaving, and dance.
