ZEISS being a socially responsible organization has always focused on Sustainability, taking it further Carl Zeiss India Mr. Wilson Thomas (Managing Director) & Mr. Shreyas Kumar (Director & Head of Finance) donated 25 School Benches and 15 teacher tables to the Govt. High School, Hebbagodi, Anekal Taluk under their CSR program. Principal Mr. C Narayan Swamy appreciated this gesture. The school staff lauded ZEISS for enhanced seating capacity & helping students with better infrastructure.

ZEISS Sustainability team members Manoj Sharma , Amarbir Singh Baweja, Praveen Jha, Ravi Rajhans & Satyadhar Mishra were also present at the event & explained the importance of this noble initiative which is not only helping social sustainability but also environmental sustainability by preventing deforestation as the wood used for making the school furniture comes from packaging wood, which was earlier scrapped. Carl Zeiss India intends to scale up this initiative to support other needy schools in Bangalore & support society and environment alike.
