कहते हैं न उड़ान हौसलों से होती है, पंख से नहीं। इस बात को सच साबित कर दिया अभिनेता सीपी भट्ट ने, जिन्‍हें भोजपुरी फिल्‍म अवार्ड 2018 में बेस्‍ट कॉमेडी एक्‍टर का अवार्ड मिला। इसको लेकर वे बेहद भावुक नजर आए और खुशी भी जाहिर की। भट्ट ने भोजपुरी फिल्‍म अवार्ड का शुक्रिया अदा करते हुए कहा – मैंने अपनी लाइफ और करियर में कई उतार चढ़ाव देखे हैं। यहां तक कि जब सर्वाइवल मुश्किल हो गया तो मैंने मुंबई छोड़ दिया। मगर दिल में कसक रह गई थी, जिसने मुझे फिर से मायानगरी की ओर रूख करने को मजबूर कर दिया। तब मुझे अपनी माटी की भाषा भोजपुरी में फिल्‍म करने का मौका मिला और आज भोजपुरी ने मुझे इस काबिल बना दिया है कि मैं यह अवार्ड ले रहा हूं।

बता दें कि सी पी भट्ट को भोजपुरी इंडस्‍ट्री का कॉमेडी किंग कहा जाता है। भट्ट को अभिनय विरासत में मिली। पिता रेलवे पौहरी शरण रेलवे में नौकरी करते थे मगर रंगमंच के बेहतरीन कलाकार भी थे। भट्ट गोरखपुर के सहजनवां क्षेत्र के पुंडा गांव से आते हैं। वे अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा पूरी करने के बाद अपने अभिनय के सपने को पूरा करने में लग गए और रंगमंच की बारिकियों को सीखा। राष्ट्रीय नाट्य विद्यालय, भारतेन्दु नाट्य अकादमी, संगीत नाट्य अकादमी, संस्कार भारती इन सभी संस्थाओ से कार्यशाला किया। कबीरा खड़ा बाजार में, सजन रे झूठ मत बोलो, दुलारी बाई, कम्पनी उस्ताद, होरी, गुड़ बाई स्वामी आदि कई नाटको में अभिनय किया। अभी भी मुम्बई इप्टा से जुड़ा हैं। उन्‍हें राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भी सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का अवार्ड मिला चुका है।

इसके अलावा उन्‍हें भिखारी ठाकुर सम्मान, पूर्वांचल सम्मान,आदि दर्जनों जगह से फ़िल्म एवम रंगमंच में योगदान के लिए कई सम्मान मिले। भट्ट अब तक हिंदी व भोजपुरी के कई दर्जनों धारावाहिक और विज्ञापन में काम कर चुके हैं। हिंदी की ई एम आई, कूल नही हॉट है हम, ग्लोबल बाबा, रहस्य, भाग डार्लिंग भाग, शैतान, हंटिंग इन एमपी जैसी आधी दर्जन फिल्‍मों में भी नजर आ चुके हैं। भोजपुरी में साजन चले ससुराल, साजन चले ससुराल -2, भईया के साली ओढनिया वाली, लावारिस, मुक़द्दर, इच्छाधारी, कुली न.1 , दबंग सरकार, गंगा जमुना सरस्वती, कहा जाइबा राजा नजरिया लड़ा के, लागल रहा बताशा, हीरोगिरी, घर वाली बाहर वाली, सुहाग, रिहाई, दूल्हे राजा, आदि लगभग 200 फ़िल्में की है।
