Ayan Khan : Casting Directors doesn’t get appreciated.

Casting director Ayan Khan known for selecting faces for reality television shows like Splitsvilla and Roadies Real Heroes, once found it difficult to pick face for promo shoot of most controversial reality television show Biggboss.

“For me till date it was difficult time to cast for promo shoot of reality tv show biggboss. I still remember about how we struggle to cast twin girls to shoot with Salman khan in its promo shoot. We finalised around 25 to 30 people and then two got selected for the shoot,” he said in a statement.

Ayan also feels that casting directors doesn’t get appreciated.

“Casting is very challenging work. Even if at times titular roles are finalised by makers. We yet struggle to find a proper face who can appear similar to them to be a family. Even we need to take care about their acting skill and body languages. Yet we lack appreciation from audiences. Even after giving a successful carrier to many talent. They aren’t thankful to us most of the times.”

Ayan has earlier worked as casting director for shows like Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Fanah, Fear Files, secret dairies and a film titled “Man To Man”
